The Launch of a New Podcast
If you’ve ever looked at your life and thought, “Wait… is this what I actually wanted?”—you’re not alone.
That question (and everything underneath it) is why I created The Sallie Ogden Show: Everything I Wish I Knew When I Was 25—a reflective personal growth podcast for the person who’s doing their best, growing in real time, and ready to build a life that actually feels like theirs.
This podcast is a space for honest conversations and solo reflections about identity, self-trust, relationships, and big life transitions—the kind of inner work no one really teaches you, but everyone eventually needs.
What This Podcast Is About
At its core, this show is for anyone who’s:
- evolving out of an old version of themselves
- questioning the rules they’ve been living by
- craving clarity and self-trust
- healing patterns that keep them stuck
- ready to make decisions from alignment, not approval
It’s part reflection, part deep exhale—because growth isn’t always loud. Sometimes it’s realizing you’ve been living by invisible expectations you didn’t even choose.
Episode 1: “Conditions of Worth” — The Invisible Rules That Run Your Life
The very first episode starts with something that shapes so much of our adulthood, often without us realizing it: conditions of worth.
Conditions of worth are the “if/then” rules we absorb early on, like:
- If I’m productive, then I’m worthy.
- If I’m easy to love, then I’ll be safe.
- If I achieve enough, then I’ll finally feel okay.
In Episode 1, we explore how these hidden beliefs can steer our choices for decades—what we chase, what we tolerate, what we fear, and even who we become.
If you’ve ever:
- achieved something and still felt empty
- struggled to rest without guilt
- felt like love had to be “earned”
- or kept performing instead of being…
This episode is your starting point.
Episode 2: When Growth Means Letting Go of Who You “Should” Be
Episode 2 continues the conversation by looking at what happens when we start waking up to those rules—and we realize we might not want to live by them anymore.
Because there’s a moment in personal growth where you can’t unsee it:
- the people-pleasing
- the proving
- the “good girl” conditioning
- the pressure to stay palatable
- the identity you built to be accepted
And once you see it, the question becomes: What does it look like to choose yourself—without asking for permission?
Episode 2 is about that shift: moving away from the version of you built on expectations, and toward the version of you built on truth.
What You Can Expect From Future Episodes
On this show, we’ll keep coming back to themes like:
- learning to trust yourself again
- navigating relationships as you change
- boundaries and emotional honesty
- self-worth that doesn’t depend on achievement
- redefining success in a way that feels real
- becoming the kind of person who chooses their life on purpose
If you’re in a season where your old ways aren’t working anymore, this podcast is for you.

One Last Thing
This podcast is called Everything I Wish I Knew When I Was 25 for a reason.
Not because I have it all figured out—but because I’ve learned that the most freeing thing you can do is stop living for approval and start living from self-trust.
I’m so glad you’re here.
